Hello, Doc.

[ Hopefully not, but she'll avoid voicing any doubts. She can't afford that right now. ]
This won't be something I regret accepting?

If this team gets going, not everyone is going to be comfortable with an evaluation done by someone possibly government appointed, or someone who plain isn't an imPort. You're an imPort, you've got the credentials, and I daresay you and I get along well enough.
[ There's not a lot of bullshit between the two of them, which she can appreciate. ]
And you can thank Will Graham.

[The irony of that statement was virtually unknown to Chilton. Dramatic irony: the joke he was never invited to join in on.]
How do you know Mr. Graham? Or should I assume it's in the same way that he always seems to know everyone? He is highly relatable, you understand.

[ But it didn't start from there really. ]
We butted heads at first, but we've gotten past that.

[Spoken somewhat dryly.]
But in terms of business, our business, when shall we begin?

[ One could practically hear the smirk in her voice. What kind of superhero would she be if she didn't have quite the presence? ]
I've still got work to do, but I'll shoot you another message when the time is right.

[And anxiously might not be too much of an overstatement; Power Girl was by default an authority figure. Chilton thought so, at least, and might have even projected that unto Will.]
