[Judging by the smile that presumption brings and the way he settles back in the chair, ready to be there for a lengthy stretch of time, Will likes scotch just fine. It might not be his favorite, but he likes it enough to not bother with any corrections. Why would he? Judging by where they are, whatever's served will be of higher quality than his usual fare. All goes to the same place, with the same desired end result. Scotch is perfect.]

[Follow the leader is a great game to play when it may save his wallet a bit of lightening. Really, the least he can do, handing those particular reins over to Chilton. Will can cover cab expenses if they prove necessary. For now, he's absolutely content to waste away the evening with his current company.]

For the record, I am surprised by the implication that he had come after you. Is that what happened? Am I mistaken?

[That revelation took a horrifying turn -- Chilton nearly recoiled at the words his friend had typed. It was as if Will confirmed fact to Chilton's assessment: yes, he had lost control of Walter White. Yes, this was the testimony.]

[Two packages are delivered to Raina and Frederick's place at the same time. Raina's has wrapping paper, floral without any overt festivity to it. The other package is bare. So bare. It is a naked box. All the flaws of tape and the like are exposed. Much larger than Raina's, but still sad.

Under some plain white tissue paper is the prize gift—that fancy, fancy cognac with its gold stopper, in its own special box. Quality all around, a moderate sort of trophy. Underneath that, past a few more layers of tissue paper, Chilton will find three containers of the facial moisturizer he had when Will abruptly stopped by. Considering Will doesn't use anything like it, he'd tried to ask after what "a month's supply" was and gotten conflicting answers, so he'd just gone for three. Three was a safe number, nice and holy. Oh God, what if Chilton used more than three a month? Oh well, Will tried. And with them was last but not least, a small jar of cane polish chosen solely for the name WAX YOUR WOOD and the old-timey drawing of a man carefully polishing his cane on his lap. The cane, of course, being drawn at such an angle...crass, but that was the point. That was why Will had bought it. Crassing up the classier things in life was so appealing.

The card at the bottom is a holiday-themed dog, too, by the same artist as Raina's card, Will's writing on the inside slanted, even when the message is as brief and to the point as this one. He's either written their cards last...or had a few drinks.

Merry Christmas, Frederick, and a Happy New Year. May it go better than this past one, for all of us.

Not only is it hard, undeniable evidence of Walter White's madness to take to different hands, but the Porter is a cruel, miserable creature. Better he have it than it rest uncomfortably somewhere in Chilton's domain, all but forgotten until the day he undergoes his own personal, intimate filming session.]
