[Well this evening certainly took a very sudden detour from wine and movies. It's not often Jeff's left without a smart answer or easy comeback to a scenario, but he'll happily admit this one has defeated him already. If nothing else, he can openly admit that this has never ever happened to him before, and the uniqueness of it is almost enough to rescue the whole thing.
The uniqueness doesn't actually solve the issue of Raina wedging herself between them though, or of Chilton sitting only a couple of feet away, or the hand that's creeping against Jeff's ridiculously expensive designer jeans. His arm still sprawled across the back of the couch suddenly feels a little too inviting, and it's really a miracle that the sight alone hasn't got Jeff instantly aroused, but he'll put it down to confusion and uncertainty. It doesn't seem right to start getting a boner over a bro's ho.
