[He pulled himself to his hands and knees, crawling over the mattress towards the edge of the bed. Those softened corners cut sharply into a knifelike smirk.]

I've committed myself to your well-being, Raina, and to whatever medicine you would see fit.

[Extending out one hand, he reached to stroke her navel.]
