I would be surprised if she were so inclined. Her subjects tend to be more of the criminal variety, or the police force. Binary structures.

Baltimore can be a small city. We're both also familiar with Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter.

One of our more infamous serial killers got his hands on me. She ensured that I didn't die on his dissection table.

I guess tabloid reporters aren't all morally questionable.

I certainly survived. It was a quick, if harsh recovery -- but one necessary, given my position back in Baltimore. [A beat.] They tell me it was rather miraculous.

Chief of Staff at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. [A beat.] It has since become apparent that other worlds relevant to my world's time period do not, in fact, utilize the common good of a federal mental institution.

But at the same time, I have heard of some that do.

Some of the ones in mine aren't exactly reputable.

Arkham comes to mind, but Gotham's a whole different story.

I suppose there's a parallel when it comes to, well, the eccentric methodologies. But Baltimore is renown for its murderers, and my attention was never before dedicated to anything below that threshold.
