I think in a busy pub with some of your patients potentially being there wouldn't qualify as out of earshot.

Not much to discuss there. [There's actually plenty, stuff that happened back home, her powers being stronger since her return and, thus, being harder to control. What happened on their date. So many things that could be discussed.]

Most of them aren't supposed to drink. I'd be doing them a favor, minding that loophole for them.

[He lets that sit, the implication of his control issues notwithstanding.]

But maybe the atmosphere will suit our heart to heart.

Pubs aren't really all that great for heart to hearts.
