[sorry Chilton, can't hear you over low self-esteem and crippling doubt.]

No, it is my fault. It was my actions that made the Lizard, any mayhem that animal causes is my fault.

You're right. I didn't intend for that outcome...but there was so much I could have done to prevented it.

[personal profile] reptiledysfunction 2014-04-26 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
[Yes. Yes he is.]

Well what else can I do?

[personal profile] reptiledysfunction 2014-04-26 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
That...I guess you're right. If I could have changed it, I would have. After all, if I knew what had happened I wouldn't...well, I wouldn't go to the talk for one.

You're right. We don't. But people still got hurt--I can't not feel guilty about that.

[personal profile] reptiledysfunction 2014-04-26 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
I do.

The problem here was that the expo was so public. I don't know if there even was a place where I could go.

[Connors is equal parts confused and interested because what?]

I'm not entirely sure I know what you mean.

[personal profile] reptiledysfunction 2014-04-29 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
To be honest, that sounds wonderful.

[personal profile] reptiledysfunction 2014-05-03 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
That'd be good. After all, I know how this thing works best of all. And...anything to keep people safe.

Not to my knowledge. [a pause, and then.] It is a reptile, though. And reptiles are ectotherms--they get their energy from outside sources, like light and heat. While it can generate some heat by itself, cold and darkness would definitely keep it sluggish.

Thank you, Doctor Chilton. You don't know how reassured this makes me.

[personal profile] reptiledysfunction 2014-05-03 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Anyway, I'm sure you've got better things to be doing at the moment...but again, thanks.

[personal profile] reptiledysfunction 2014-05-06 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
I can't think of anything at the moment. Though...thank you.
